The European Society of Historical Demography is pleased to invite submissions for its 6th Conference, to be held in Bologna from 10 to 13 September 2025. This event will provide a platform for scholars and researchers to present their latest findings and engage in discussions on a wide array of topics in historical demography.
Contributions across the entire discipline of historical demography and family history are welcomed. These could include any key topics of research such as family systems, migration and mobility, health and mortality, fertility and reproductive behavior, and the effects of environmental changes on demographic behaviors. Papers employing innovative methodologies, comparative analyses, or interdisciplinary perspectives are particularly encouraged.
